Year 1 and 2 - Toys from the Past Workshop Chestnut class enjoyed a very informative workshop from Craven Museum to enhance our history unit of work. We learnt about two different children who lived in Skipton, a poor child and a rich child. We then looked at some of the toys they owned and sorted them accordingly. The children then had the opportunity to handle some of the toys and asked some interesting questions about them. The children also made comparisons with the toys they have now. We ended our session by learning about and also playing some playground games from the Victorian era.
