We believe strongly that all children should arrive at school dressed smartly in our school uniform. Just like all other associations, a uniform provides children with a sense of belonging and encourages school pride. We ask that all children adhere to our uniform policy by wearing:
- A red jumper or cardigan (jumpers or cardigans bearing the school logo can be purchased from Skip to school in Skipton)
- A white shirt or polo-shirt
- Grey or black skirt, trousers or shorts - not cycling shorts or leggings
- A checked/gingham summer dress, shorts, skirt, all in one etc
- Plain white, grey or black socks. Grey, black or red tights.
- Black school shoes (no heels or trainers)
Our PE Kit
- A plain white t-shirt or house t-shirt (these can be purchased from Skip to school in Skipton)
- Black shorts or leggings.
- Pumps or trainers.
- For outdoor PE (Y1 upwards): a tracksuit and trainers.
Children must not wear jewellery, nail varnish or make up. If ears are pierced, only small studs will be allowed.
Earrings must be removed for PE lessons by the child wearing them.
We encourage sensible haircuts and ask that children do not have inappropriate haircuts or shaved lines in their hair.
Long hair should be tied back at all times. There should be no large bows, ribbons or other hair accessories.
