Chestnut Class enjoyed a morning session of geography fieldwork facilitated by the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We started the session of by identifying rural and urban features and sorting a range of pictures accordingly. We then used maps to walk around the village, locating different features on the map as we saw them. We also spotted lots of features within our village that makes it a rural area. We then used our field to complete sketches of rural features we could see and ended the session creating a clay model of a rural feature we had identified throughout the morning.
